The Bioethno Club is an experiential exploration and knowledge community that brings young explorers, curious minds, and aspiring researchers beyond conventional classrooms. Through immersive field expeditions, remote island camp, village homestays, going native experiences, wilderness exploration, overnight research camps, cultural immersion, and scientific adventures, participants learn directly from the world around them. Our activities encourage participants to live alongside local communities, explore tropical forests, navigate coastal landscapes, observe wildlife, discover traditional ecological knowledge, and engage with unfamiliar cultures. Every journey becomes an opportunity to develop intellectual curiosity, adaptability, independence, teamwork, and scientific thinking. We believe that knowledge should not remain confined to books and theories. It should be experienced through exploration, questioned through observation, and deepened through meaningful human encounters. Rooted in Belitong Island, our curiosity extends across landscapes, cultures, ecosystems, and civilizations. MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS & SELECTION Membership is open to individuals aged 20 years and above who demonstrate intellectual curiosity, a willingness to explore, and a genuine commitment to learning. Prospective members will undergo a selective recruitment process conducted by The Tuan Kuase Team, consisting of: • IQ Assessment: Evaluating logical reasoning, analytical ability, and intellectual aptitude. • EQ Assessment: Assessing emotional intelligence, adaptability, interpersonal skills, and teamwork. • General Knowledge: Demonstrating an understanding of Belitong Island. • Geopolitical Awareness: Understanding global-domestic contemporary strategic issues. • Multilingual Competency: Demonstrating proficiency in at least two languages, including English and/or other international or regional languages. Selection will consider not only academic knowledge but also character, intellectual openness, discipline, curiosity, and the ability to work collaboratively in challenging environments.
