Greetings from An Island
Dear traveller,
The tide has gone out and the old stones are warm again. Somewhere between Billiton, Maya and Karimata the sea still remembers what we forget.
Come and listen. Bring your questions, and leave a little quieter than you arrived.

Betare, Perenggu, and Tula: The Moral Law Beyond Humanity
Ancestral Epistemology, Moral Ontology, and the Limits of Human Sovereignty
The Tuan Kuase revisit an old philosophy rooted in the waters of Billiton–Maya–Karimata: Betare, Perenggu, and Tula—a constellation of ancestral thought through which spirituality, knowledge, and the moral conditions of existence may be reconsidered.
Tula begins as a normative order, a framework governing transgression and the acceptance of its consequences. Yet its deeper philosophical significance lies beyond punishment. It confronts a fundamental problem of moral existence, can a transgression ever be considered resolved merely because its perpetrator has fulfilled the prescribed consequence?
Punishment may conclude, guilt may be forgiven, and wrongdoing may disappear from collective memory. Yet consequences do not necessarily obey the boundaries of human judgment. What has been damaged may remain irreparable; what has been lost may resist restitution. The completion of a sentence, therefore, is not synonymous with the restoration of moral order.
Here, Tula becomes more than a system of rules. It becomes an inquiry into the limits of human knowledge, agency, and moral authority. The capacity to act does not establish the legitimacy of action; the power to define value does not confer exclusive ownership over it.
That which cannot speak in human language does not thereby become devoid of moral significance. That which cannot resist human power does not thereby become rightfully subject to it.
Tula invites us to reconsider morality beyond the presumption that humanity is the ultimate measure of all existence. It asks whether responsibility might extend to beings, relations, and forms of existence whose significance exceeds our capacity to comprehend them.
Perhaps the deepest paradox of human progress is that the expansion of our power does not necessarily entail the maturation of our wisdom. The more we become capable of doing, the more urgently we must confront the question of what ought to remain beyond our reach.
Ultimately, Tula is not merely concerned with the consequences of violating a moral order. It confronts the existential limits of sovereignty itself: the possibility that no being, however powerful or intelligent, can claim absolute authority over the conditions of its own existence.
When the possible exceeds the permissible, what remains to prevent power from mistaking itself for truth?

Private Remote Island Party
A Party on Untouched Island in Northern Part of Belitong
Located at the northernmost edge of the archipelago, Private Remote Island Party is an immersive wilderness gathering on an uninhabited island where no modern facilities exist, inviting participants to rediscover the beauty of simplicity and the freedom of life in nature. From witnessing spectacular sunsets and exploring coastal waters to foraging for wild ingredients, enjoying freshly prepared barbecue and local gastronomy, and sharing drinks from a portable pop-up bar, every moment becomes part of an authentic island experience. As night falls, the gathering transforms into an intimate celebration around a crackling bonfire, beneath constellations undimmed by city lights, where the sounds of the natural world accompany stories of Indigenous communities, ancestral wisdom, and local mythology. More than a party, it is a rare encounter between wilderness, culture, human connection, and the untamed spirit of exploration.
